Removing My Kiddies Cell-phones Come Early July

Taking Away Cell Phones

My husband and I decided that we are planning to take away our children's mobiles this summer. Some other parents may not agree with this, however they are our kids. I don't feel that we are depriving our children, quite contrary. Actually, I think we have been preventing them from the pressure to article or like somebody's picture throughout the summer. This is going for a break out of the virtual universe. I know I want them to be more playing outside more, and also their father agrees. Maybe we'll even go on a family road trip with these kids.

Teen Girls In Their Phones

Without mobile we can actually have long conversations with eye contact. Maybe not short responses among texting their friends. Our kids are going to learn how to amuse themselves without depending on technology. Even I might take a rest out of my cell phone spy app.

Cutting Ties

Of course we can't cut off them completely. They will still have their mobiles to call their buddies and for safety once they're out. Also the very fact that no one appears to have a home phone anymore. We got rid of ours last month since we've never used it. We expect that using this completely free time they will join sports clubs and begin new principles.

I am going to allow them to have their cellular phones however, also the phones should be off during practice. Then once they have to get found they can be on their mobiles. Basically, they have been cut away from social media marketing but continue to be able to make use of their own mobiles for the reasons phones were built. Like calling your parents or for crises.

Getting Outside

Rather than spending their days being sedentary and on their devices, they will go bike riding and do something productive. When we were children, we'd no choice but to play outside. There were no iPads or iPhones and the TV just had a couple stations.

Kids today cannot realize how much tech happens over their own world. Bring out isn't just beneficial to their own bodies (vitamin D) however it's also cleansing for their mind.

Kids On Their Phones Lowered Attention Span

We are therefore used to multitasking therefore that we get bored easily. Like I'll have the TV on and then I will get bored, so I will take out my iPad}. Even I am experiencing a lower attention span from having access to so many diverse types of technology. So I can't even imagine how much more my kids are impacted.

I do agree that technology could be beneficial, I am not completely against it. But like anything else, we should use technology in moderation. Not to the point where you become determined by cellular phones, such as how most people are currently. So that's the way my kids will be spending their summer that this past year.
